Data Policy
Whilst we realise that the information on your XDA is valuable to you, POS do not guarantee, in any way, that a machine being serviced will be returned to you with your information intact.
POS cannot be held responsible for any data loss incurred during the servicing of your machine. It is your responsibility to back up your information.
We will endeavour to preserve data to the best of our ability, but this is not considered to be part of any service. Data preservation cannot be guaranteed under any circumstances.
Where machines have been handed to our Technical Services Department for data recovery work (and other related areas), again no guarantees can be offered as to preservation or recovery of data.
VAT is charged at 17.5% where applicable. While POS can support machines under warranty. If your machine is still under warranty you should return it to the manufacturers. Any servicing carried out by POS will invalidate your machine's warranty. Return delivery is not included in the price. Any damage to machines caused by liquid entry cannot be repaired. Damage caused by user-initiated repairs will be subject to a surcharge. We reserve the right to reject any machine for servicing. Cosmetic damage to your machine will also be repaired at the discretion of our engineers with the standard case for that machine. Any part of the machine you wish to retain must be clearly stated in writing when the machine is handed in for servicing. If you have any queries, please email the Servicing Department.
